Our founder, Shelly Gaudet Hayes, CPA, brings a wealth of experience to our practice. A South Louisiana native, Shelly graduated from Nicholls State University with a BS in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified ProAdvisor for QuickBooks Online and Payroll. With 8 years in the banking industry in Louisiana and 18 years in public accounting for a Houston middle market firm, Shelly has extensive experience providing advisory, audit/review and compilation services, bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and payroll processing to individuals and small/mid-sized businesses.
Recently, Shelly and her family relocated to Orange Beach, Alabama—their happy place. Her husband hails from the Mobile area, and their son is a student at the University of South Alabama. Shelly looks forward to becoming an active member of the community and making a positive impact in the area she loves.
